Dr. Ulrike Gedert studied Jurisprudence at the Universities of Osnabrueck, Bremen and Utrecht and passed the Second State Examination in 2000.

In 2002 she completed a Masters Program for European and International Law. Her master's thesis was about "Internet distribution of pharmaceutical products". She spent one semester at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands during her postgraduate course.

After having worked for several years as a scientific research assistant at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, she decided to become an attorney in 2009.

Her dissertation topic on "Damage compensation for the infringement of intellectual property" has received a scientific award by the "Deutsche Stiftung für Recht und Informatik" in 2008.

In 2010 Dr. Ulrike Gedert successfully passed the theoretical part of the examination to become specialist solicitor for Intellectual Property Law.

At our office she especially works in the fields of trademark law, copyright law and compensation law. Additionally, she handles national and international trademark applications and speaks business fluent English.

Furthermore, Dr. Ulrike Gedert is assistant lecturer for "Intangible property right law ", as well as for the module "Innovations and their backgrounds" in the course of studies "Innovation management" at the University of Oldenburg.
